Against Houston, the Pelicans trailed by two after one quarter and by five at the half before taking a one-point lead after three quarters. New Orleans was done in by an 11-2 fourth quarter run to trail 110-103 with 3:15 to play and couldn’t get back in it. The Pelicans shot 44.7 percent from the field, including 10 of 33 from three-point range, but turned the ball over 23 times in the loss. Brandon Ingram led New Orleans with 28 points and 12 boards in the loss.
